Long-time Bar / Tavern/ Billiard hall location is ready for a new owner. Jeff is a lifelong resident of Southeast Kansas and resides in Chanute with his wife Sharla. Jeff wears many hats - one of which is real estate broker. He became more active in real estate in 2008 with the purchase of two agencies which he combined under the United Country Real Estate Professionals banner. Eventually, he closed the outlying office and operated solely out of the Chanute location for many years. Then in 2021, he sold the brokerage to Mark Larson, the owner/operator of the United Country Deer Creek agency in Iola, so he could focus less on running the agency and more on being an agent and many of the other things he is involved in locally.
Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys just about any kind of hunting with particular emphasis on Pheasant and Whitetail Deer. Jeff and his wife Sharla also raise Labrador Retrievers (Pointing Labs) under the name Blackjack Kennels (www.blackjackkennels.com), one of the top Pointing Lab Kennels in the nation.
